The Base is the permit and equipment shop from Nonpareil Logistics, a trucking company based in Chicago.
How The Base got here
Nonpareil Logistics was started in August 2021 in Memphis, Tennessee, by a husband-and-wife team who wanted a better quality of life for their family. The company later moved to Chicago, where it is based today.
It runs semi trucks and hauls oversized and hazmat freight, so ordering permits and getting a truck ready to roll are part of the daily work. The Base grew out of that.
What The Base offers
A permit gets a truck on the road. The right equipment keeps it legal once it is there.
The Base handles oversize, overweight, trip, fuel, and annual permits, ordered online or by phone, with the price shown before anyone pays. State fees are passed through at cost, and the service fee is listed separately so there are no surprises.
The Base is also adding the equipment that permits commonly call for, such as oversize load signs, flags, and warning lights, so drivers can get the permit and the gear in one place.
What The Base stands on
